Cabriolet House

A MORE FORMAL EXPRESSION OF SCALE AND DETAIL

Located in a well-established area of Melville, this custom residence balances architectural presence with everyday livability.

The home presents a more formal expression, defined by a brick façade, strong symmetry, and a pronounced entry sequence anchored by a deep arched portico. The composition is intentional and structured, giving the house a sense of permanence and clarity from the street.

Inside, the scale shifts to a more expansive, open interior. A double-height entry is centered around a sculptural curved staircase with custom ironwork, creating a strong focal point while maintaining a clear and functional flow throughout the home. Detailed wall paneling and refined millwork reinforce a sense of proportion, allowing the spaces to feel both elevated and controlled.

The kitchen is designed as a central gathering space, combining a classic layout with more expressive detailing, while bathrooms introduce a richer material palette with stone surfaces, warm metal finishes, and layered lighting.

Throughout the home, Andersen 400 Series windows—black on the exterior and white within—frame natural light while maintaining a clean interior aesthetic. The exterior is finished in James Hardie siding, contributing to both durability and a cohesive, refined appearance.

Built by Noli Development, the project reflects a disciplined, detail-driven approach—resulting in a home that balances scale, craftsmanship, and long-term livability.
